About The Position

Kay Jewelers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help lead store operations. The role focuses on achieving individual and team standards, sales and profit projections, and a high level of customer satisfaction. The Assistant Store Manager develops team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and participates in recruiting and selection. The position also involves following and enforcing company policies and procedures and performing other operational and strategic duties. Kay offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and other skills to support career development.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Commitment to excellence, desire to grow, and ability to provide a superior customer experience.
