About The Position

Kay Jewelers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team members’ achievement of standards and sales and profit projections. The role helps create an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction, develops team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and supports recruiting and selection. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces Company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties.

The company provides training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and skills, and promotes advancement from within. Candidates should bring a commitment to excellence, a desire to grow, and the ability to provide a superior customer experience.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Commitment to excellence, desire to grow, and ability to provide a superior customer experience.
