About The Position

The Vitamin Shoppe is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to directly support the Store Manager and help lead a team of Health Enthusiasts. The role focuses on executing store operations, achieving sales and productivity goals, developing team members, and helping customers pursue lifelong wellness. The position offers opportunities for leadership development, continuous education, and professional growth. The Assistant Store Manager helps maintain the store, including processing receipts, keeping shelves stocked and products properly priced, and following loss prevention standards. The role may also include additional duties as required. The schedule should be flexible to meet business needs, including holidays, weekends, and locations.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and different locations, depending on business needs.
Valid driver’s license.
3–5 years of retail experience.
Enthusiasm and ability to effectively engage customers and Health Enthusiasts.
Ability to support the development of strong teams.
Passion for the health and wellness industry.

Directly support the Store Manager and execute store initiatives with excellence.

Assist with recruiting and developing talent.

Maintain regular store maintenance, follow loss prevention standards, process receipts promptly, and keep shelves stocked and products correctly priced.
