Assistant Store Manager
About The Position
Assistant Managers oversee all aspects of store operations and ensure the facility is clean and well-maintained. They lead by example to deliver high customer satisfaction, high-quality custard, and exceptional service, while maintaining the fun, family-like, professional culture associated with Andy’s. This is a hands-on role that involves working up front with guests and staff across shifts, coaching and developing team members, and maintaining high operating standards in a fast-paced environment. The position requires full-time availability, including late nights, weekends, and some holidays. The stated schedule is 40–45 hours per week. Andy’s describes its workplace as clean, family-friendly, and fun, with no grills or fryers. Requirements
- 1–2 years of proven management experience in the food service industry or a leadership role in a related industry.
- Able to physically work all shifts up front with guests and staff.
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic demeanor.
- Ability to lead by example and uphold high operating standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to coach and provide feedback to help team members grow.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Able to work full-time with open availability, including late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Solid employment track record with positive references.
- Able to meet the stated physical requirements, including standing and walking constantly; occasionally pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 55 pounds; and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
