Assistant Store Manager
About The Position
Assistant Managers at Andy’s oversee store operations and ensure the facility is clean and well-maintained. They lead by example to deliver high customer satisfaction, high-quality custard, and exceptional service, while helping maintain Andy’s fun, family-like, and professional culture. This is a hands-on role that requires working up front with guests and staff across shifts rather than working in an office. The position offers opportunities to develop team members and grow with the company as it opens additional stores. Andy’s describes its workplace as clean, family-friendly, and fun, with no grills or fryers, and promotes work-life balance with a typical 40–45-hour schedule.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of proven management experience in food service or a leadership role in a related industry.
- Able to work full-time with open availability, including late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic.
- Able to lead by example and uphold high operating standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to coach team members and provide ongoing feedback.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Solid employment track record with positive references.
- Able to stand and walk constantly.
- Able to occasionally push, pull, lift, or carry up to 55 pounds independently and safely.
- Able to occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, and similar surfaces.
- Able to use a computer, point-of-sale register, and other listed equipment constantly.
- Able to frequently and continually flex or rotate the wrist and spine.
- Able to reach, turn, and perform precision work around the fountain area constantly.
- Able to talk and exchange ideas verbally constantly.
- Able to maintain clarity of vision at near and/or far distances constantly.
- Able to work outside in various weather conditions.
