About The Position

JARS Cannabis is seeking enthusiastic, driven, and experienced Assistant Store Managers for its Central Phoenix dispensary locations. The Assistant Store Manager collaborates with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with state regulations, maintain inventory accuracy, and provide exceptional customer service. The role also supports the development and leadership of a motivated team, achievement of performance goals, and a positive store culture. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, pass a standard background check, and undergo a fingerprint background check. Requirements

At least 3–5 years of leadership experience, preferably in retail or dispensary settings.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must possess a valid Facility Agent Card from the Arizona Department of Health Services.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team of 20 or more staff members.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Passion for cannabis education and customer experience.
Must pass a standard background check and undergo a fingerprint background check.

Leadership experience in retail or dispensary settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, and motivate a team to deliver excellent customer experiences.
Maintain compliance with Arizona Department of Health Services regulations.
Conduct inventory audits and ensure accurate product scanning during transactions.
Partner with procurement and marketing teams on sales promotions and marketing initiatives.
Address customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Assist with hiring, performance reviews, and team development.
Collaborate with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, maintain inventory accuracy, achieve performance goals, and foster a positive store culture.
