About The Position

The Assistant Manager of Sales and Service supports the management team in achieving goals by providing world-class service and modeling relationship-building with customers. The role maintains a visible presence through store supervision to ensure appropriate staff coverage throughout the store. It leads and coaches the store team to create exceptional customer experiences, meet sales goals, and resolve client service issues.

Requirements

Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Superior critical-thinking skills to identify challenges creatively and develop action plans in a timely manner.
Strong time-management skills and ability to execute multiple tasks and manage competing priorities.
Two to three years of previous retail sales experience or management experience in a customer-service-related field.
Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items weighing up to 75 pounds using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
Full-time associates are expected to have open availability to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Lead the store team to create exceptional customer experiences and exceed sales goals.
Ensure the sales floor is adequately staffed from both sales and tactical perspectives, while modeling sales generation and customer service.
Coach staff on customer service successes and challenges.
Use Selling Essentials and training resources to educate the team about products, improve selling skills, and achieve business goals.
Create and maintain a positive environment where associates are treated fairly and with dignity in accordance with the People-First Philosophy.
Ensure timely resolution of client service issues, including delivery, pickup, and outstanding issues, using and managing the client information reporting system.
