Assistant Store Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager partners with the Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of an AT&T retail store. The role supports sales performance, exceptional customer service, and operational efficiency while helping customers access AT&T services, entertainment, and technology. The Assistant Store Manager assists with merchandising and product launches, works to meet and exceed sales objectives, and conducts outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed. The role also coaches and develops retail sales consultants to help them meet sales and service goals. AT&T provides paid training to support leadership development.
Requirements
- Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
- Prior management experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Well-developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
- Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
- Strategic perspective and ability to champion change.
- Ability to take initiative and strive to create results.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager with daily retail store operations.
- Drive sales, customer service, and operational efficiency to achieve store performance goals.
- Assist with merchandising and product launches.
- Help meet and exceed sales objectives and ensure customers receive an extraordinary experience with AT&T products and services.
- Conduct outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed.
- Coach and develop retail sales consultants to help them meet sales and service goals.
- Inspire the team through high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
- Use professional expertise to solve problems, analyze issues, and champion change.
