About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager contributes to store performance through talent initiatives, operational execution, visual standards, and customer experience. The role supports overall sales and KPI performance, represents the brand, develops team members, delivers excellent service, and helps execute daily store operations. Ideal candidates are motivated, adaptable, coachable, and passionate about the gorjana brand.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a retail leadership position.
• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift or move at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least six hours per shift.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday shifts based on business needs.
• Ability to work full-time hours with open availability.
• Adaptability and ability to manage change.
• Organization and excellent time-management skills.
• Ability to spot and recruit talent.

Responsibilities

• Support overall store performance and key performance indicators.
• Represent the brand, educate customers about its history, and maintain knowledge of the products and industry.
• Create effective action plans to maintain or improve performance.
• Build new and repeat business through customer clienteling.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and development of internal and external talent.
• Communicate initiatives and goals clearly and in a timely manner, and encourage collaboration, accountability, and trust.
• Lead by example in delivering a strong customer experience and maintaining team and personal presentation standards.
• Lead and coach the team on return policies while prioritizing the customer experience.
• Respond professionally and promptly to customer complaints and concerns, focusing on resolution.
• Lead execution of brand visual standards and updates.
• Execute daily store operations efficiently and on time.
• Schedule team members according to business needs and budget.
• Manage store inventory with attention to detail and organization in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Lead opening and closing duties.
