Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Retail or production experience strongly preferred.
  • Supervisory experience helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Leading by example through fair delegation and hands-on work in every store area.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to friendly customer service and team work.
  • Showing integrity, following company guidelines in letter and spirit.
  • Holding associates and self accountable for meeting company goals, treating all staff with respect and fairness.
  • Showing integrity and resourcefulness and enjoying a varied and very fast-paced environment.
  • Ensuring that production goals are met by staff.
  • Creating a positive store environment for staff and customers.
  • Managing payroll/timekeeping.
  • Assisting in ensuring production goals and sales goals are met.
  • Communicating tools, equipment and product needs to Transportation Department.
  • Closing store, reconciling cash with daily sales reports and securing facility for night.
  • Performing cash register/customer service duties.
  • Pulling items from sales floor, placing in carts/ totes and moving to recycling area (may also require frequent lifting of moderately heavy items up to 35 lbs).
  • Stocking sales floor with goods.
