Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a retail environment.
  • Must regularly work during high-traffic and peak selling periods, including weekends, holidays, and nights, to ensure you capitalize on demand, outperform goals, and maximize your earnings.
  • Experience leading in a high-volume retail, outlet, or complex retail environment, with a proven ability to balance customer experience and operational execution, drive inventory accuracy, solve complex business challenges, lead through change, and support process improvements and operational pilots.
  • Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support including demonstrating products, assisting customers and utilizing internal CRM systems to enhance customer experience and drive future outreach.
  • Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to local stores, third-party vendors and occasional meetings including our annual company event using various forms of transportation.
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy and ensuring the comfort and safety of persons and property.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner.
  • Must be able to safely load, unload, stage, move, and assemble furniture products with or without assistance.
  • Candidates must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and to assemble and disassemble furniture while working on the selling floor.
  • Candidates must be able to safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other moving equipment.
  • This position regularly requires moving objects (including medium to large furniture items) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position.
  • This position constantly requires standing and/or walking for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
  • This position regularly requires the following actions lifting; pushing; pulling; bending; twisting; kneeling; reaching; stooping; crawling; and climbing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead from the floor with energy and optimism, actively selling while coaching the team to maximize every customer opportunity, maintain a healthy quote pipeline, drive conversion across both on hand and order-based assortment, and maintain a healthy quote pipeline.
  • Own the full customer journey with curiosity and adaptability, creating a seamless experience from discovery to pick up, while holding the team accountable for exceptional service, strong conversion, and lasting customer relationships.
  • Model expert product knowledge while fostering a fun, engaging environment, helping customers navigate changing assortments, limited-quantity opportunities, and value-driven solutions while delivering engaging brand experiences and actively closing business.
  • Drive long-term impact, both sales growth and inventory productivity by building genuine customer connections, creating urgency around outlet opportunities, generating repeat business, and brand advocacy.

  • Lead a high-performing operation by balancing scheduling, merchandising, inventory flow, fulfillment, shipments, and technology—creating the conditions for remarkable customer experiences and strong business results.
  • Own inventory accuracy and product flow, ensuring merchandise is received, processed, stored, and moved efficiently to maximize availability, sell-through, and profitability.
  • Drive safe, organized, and customer-ready shipment and inventory operations, adapting to changing inventory volumes and business needs while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Partner closely with Retail Operations, Supply Chain, and Inventory Planning teams to solve challenges, identify opportunities, and optimize inventory performance through strong execution and collaboration.
  • Bring the Lovesac brand to life through compelling visual merchandising, signage, and in-store presentation, ensuring customers can easily navigate changing inventory while discovering products, promotions, and outlet-specific opportunities.
