About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager in Waiting program develops and evaluates future retail leaders through hands-on experience in a store environment. Advancement into a leadership role depends on demonstrated performance, leadership readiness, and business needs. Team members not selected for a leadership role at the conclusion of the 180-day program will be placed into an appropriate Jewelry Consultant level based on qualifications, performance, and business needs, with any applicable compensation adjustment. Candidates should understand the temporary developmental nature of the role and its possible outcomes at the end of the program. The position is limited to external new hires. Compensation is $16.50–$21.00 base pay, plus sales commission; the final rate is based on experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- Previous management or leadership experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and a desire to pursue a management career with Signet.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work successfully in a fast-paced retail environment.
