About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its store at Northfield Square Mall in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Assistant Store Managers and Supervisors manage daily store operations, develop and motivate team members, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role supports store sales and profitability, operational standards, financial performance, and community engagement. Assistant Store Managers must be available for a minimum standard work week of five days, averaging 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available at least five days per week and work a minimum standard of 30 hours. Both roles require availability during opening and closing hours, including mornings, days, and nights, as well as weekends and holidays. Full-time roles are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage, sick leave, parental leave, and company-paid time off; all roles are eligible for the company 401(k) plan.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability for store opening and closing hours; minimum standard work week of five days and average standard work week of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods.
Supervisor: availability for store opening and closing hours and at least five days of availability; minimum standard work week of 30 hours.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly enough to communicate with customers, supervise staff, understand sales reports, and perform business-related mathematics.
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Two or more years of retail leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
