About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring store management team members for its Bonita Lakes Mall location in Meridian, Mississippi. Management team members oversee daily store operations, lead and develop staff, deliver customer service, and contribute to sales, profitability, and company growth. The position includes responsibility for operational, financial, merchandising, marketing, and community engagement activities. Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability for store opening and closing hours, including mornings, days, and nights; minimum availability of five days per week; standard work week of at least five days and an average of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods.
Supervisor: availability for store opening and closing hours, including mornings, days, and nights; minimum availability of five days per week and a standard work week of at least 30 hours.
All management roles require weekend and holiday availability, punctuality, and regular attendance consistent with company policies.
Reliable transportation is required.
Must speak English clearly to communicate with customers and supervise staff, and read and write English and perform business-related mathematics to handle routine business tasks and understand sales reports.
May need to move to different locations within the company's network based on operational needs and career growth.
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including prolonged standing; stooping, kneeling, reaching, and pulling; climbing ladders or stairs; regularly lifting 5–25 pounds and potentially heavier items; and having good vision, including color differentiation.

Two or more years of retail leadership experience is strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
