About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members to lead retail store operations at Town Center At Cobb in Kennesaw, Georgia. Management is responsible for overseeing daily operations, motivating and developing employees, and delivering excellent customer experiences. The role contributes to store performance and company growth through sales leadership, operational execution, financial management, and community engagement. The position is available at the Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor levels, which have different minimum availability and weekly-hours expectations. The work takes place in a moderately noisy retail setting and requires flexible availability, including mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The role requires prolonged standing, handling merchandise, and other physical activity. A high school diploma or GED is required, and applicants must be at least 18 years old. The company may ask employees to perform additional duties and may require relocation to another company location based on operational needs and career growth.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to excellent customer service and creating positive shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Manager: Open availability, including the hours needed to open and close the store, covering mornings, days, and nights; minimum standard work week of five days; average standard work week of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods.
Supervisor: Availability during hours needed to open and close the store, covering mornings, days, and nights; availability at least five days per week; minimum standard work week of 30 hours.
All management: Weekend and holiday availability; punctuality and regular attendance; reliable transportation; ability to speak, read, and write English and perform business-related mathematics; possible ability to move to different company locations based on operational needs and career growth.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, climbing ladders or stairs, lifting merchandise, and good vision including color differentiation.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of retail leadership experience is strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions to improve store operations.
Perform additional duties and projects as required.
