About The Position

There is an immediate opening for an Assistant State Attorney to work in the State Attorney’s Office Public Records Unit. The position is responsible for reviewing requests for public records, determining which records are deemed public record and redacting any exempt and/or confidential information therefrom pursuant to Federal and State law.

Requirements

  • Experience with the criminal justice system, preferably with some experience with felony cases
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented with a high level of quality and accuracy in their work
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Ability to effectively work under pressure
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Adaptable to change
  • Computer literate
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good people skills
  • Membership in the Florida Bar
