About The Position
Guidepost Montessori is hiring an Assistant Spanish Guide for its Wicker Park school. The role supports a mixed-age Montessori Spanish classroom serving infants, toddlers, and children ages 3–6. The Assistant Spanish Guide helps create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. This includes preparing intentional learning spaces and supporting individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care. The role also helps children build confidence and independence and supports their development and love of learning. Guidepost Montessori is a network of more than 100 schools across the U.S. and Asia, serving children from 3 months to 6 years old. Its mission is to transform education by nurturing children’s independence, curiosity, and joy and helping each child reach their potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Requirements
- Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
- A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
- A genuine love for working with young children.
- Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach; prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required.
