About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring an Assistant Teacher for its Spanish Immersion classroom at the Downtown Naperville location. The role supports a mixed-age Montessori classroom serving infants, toddlers, and children ages 3–6. Assistant Teachers help create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. They assist in preparing intentional learning spaces and support individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care, helping children build confidence and recognize their abilities. Part-time and full-time positions are available; part-time hours may increase depending on school needs.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach.

• Prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required.
