Responsibilities

Assisting the Spa Director in managing the operation of the spa and the spa staff.
Managing day-to-day activities of the spa.
Promote teamwork and motivation through daily communication.
Ensure prompt response and follow up to guest’s needs.
Assist in hiring, planning, scheduling, and organizing staff to ensure proper coverage.
Follow through with new employees to ensure proper paperwork is complete and guide the new employee through the orientation process.
Responsible for managing and monitoring Spa Attendants.
Manages all aspects of inventory to include purchasing, maintaining retail and back-bar products as well as monthly reporting.
Assist in managing the spa budget, payroll and labor costs.
Ensure that Chatham Bars Inn Standards are adhered to including Forbes, Preferred, and AAA.
Ensure that all staff are properly trained and that they have the tools and products to effectively carry out their daily tasks.
Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
Oversee the development and implementation of internal training.
Assist in the design and formulation of protocols (Standard Operating Procedures).
Schedule and organize staff treatment rooms to ensure proper coverage and optimal use.
Point of contact for all Spa parties and groups.
