About The Position

The Assistant Site Manager assists the site manager in keeping the store operating effectively and meeting customer service needs. The role includes engaging prospective customers, selling monthly unlimited car wash packages, and upselling products to existing customers. The position supports daily site operations, team leadership and development, sales growth, staffing, expense monitoring, quality control, cash management, inventory, safety, and customer issue resolution. It also involves learning the wash process and equipment and participating in educational and training opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience, including de-escalation tactics.
• Basic IT and computer proficiency, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Strong verbal communication skills for engaging with customers.
• Ability to provide and follow clear directions.
• Ability to close the site at least two nights per week and open as needed.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and train.
• Present a professional image according to appearance guidelines.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the site for the entire shift and work on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality day-to-day on-site store operations.
• Lead with integrity and foster a culture of respectful accountability.
• Work to exceed sales goals and grow the store.
• Assist with recruiting, developing, and motivating teams to deliver the company’s mission.
• Manage labor and staff scheduling successfully.
• Monitor chemicals, utilities, and other expenditures as part of P&L management.
• Perform accurate quality control checks.
• Follow standard cash management procedures, including daily reconciliations, audits, and deposits.
• Monitor inventory and supplies and assist with orders.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Address customer escalations calmly and professionally.
• Learn the wash process and equipment.
• Pursue growth through educational and training opportunities.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
• Engage potential customers, present monthly unlimited car wash packages, and upsell products to existing customers.
