SB Assistant Shop Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Shop Manager supports the Store Manager and helps oversee daily shop operations. Duties include opening and closing the shop on the manager’s days off, delivering an exceptional customer experience, training new employees, maintaining safety and health compliance, keeping the store clean and visually appealing, handling cash and inventory, and tracking shop performance goals. The role requires effective communication using Microsoft Outlook and Teams. Assistant Shop Managers are eligible for a monthly commission and bonus program; for high performers, average bonus and commission plans may add $1.50–$2.00 per hour to hourly salary.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Ability to work Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily shop operations, including opening and closing on the manager’s days off.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience and maintain high review ratings.
- Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store management.
- Monitor and train new employees.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Maintain a clean and visually appealing store environment.
- Communicate effectively using Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
- Handle cash and inventory management.
- Assist in monitoring and tracking shop performance goals.
