About The Position
The Assistant Shop Manager assists the store manager with all aspects of store management and helps oversee daily shop operations. The role includes opening and closing the shop on the manager’s days off, providing an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a clean and visually appealing store, and helping monitor shop performance goals. Assistant Shop Managers are eligible for a monthly commission and bonus program; for high-performing employees, average bonus and commission earnings may add $1.50–$2.00 per hour to hourly salary.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Ability to work Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily shop operations, including opening and closing on the manager’s days off.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience and maintain high review ratings.
- Assist the store manager in all aspects of store management.
- Monitor and train new employees.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Maintain a clean and visually appealing store environment.
- Communicate effectively using Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
- Handle cash and inventory management.
- Assist in monitoring and tracking shop performance goals.
