Requirements

  • Experience in the Automotive industry.
  • At least 1 year experience as a Service Advisor at an authorized dealership.
  • Strong skills in sales.
  • Ability to communicate well with all customers.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

  • Producing high sales targets.
  • Maintaining reporting systems required by general management and the factory.
  • Attending advisor meetings.
  • Monitoring the performance of the service and parts departments.
  • Striving for harmony and teamwork within the departments and with all other departments.
  • Ensuring compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
  • Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Fostering professional employee development and coordinating with department managers to determine the need for advanced training.
  • Maintaining high-quality service repairs and minimizing comebacks.
  • Conducting periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
  • Making customer satisfaction a department priority, ensuring that service and parts personnel are courteous and respectful in their interaction with customers.
  • Handling customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.
  • Administering warranty claims, reviewing warranty policy adjustments, understanding and applying warranty guidelines, ensuring correct processing of claims and communicating warranty information and clarifications to customers.
  • Developing dealership service and parts pricing plans and recommending them to the dealer or general manager.
  • Working with parts and service managers to find ways to improve the overall profitability of the dealership.
  • Keeping abreast of new equipment and tools available and recommending purchases.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned.
