About The Position

Lia Toyota Northampton is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our Fixed Operations teams as Assistant Service Manager/Dispatcher to assist in leading the daily operations and workflow of our busy service department. This role is ideal for former technicians, service advisors, and any automotive professional looking to grow into leadership.

Requirements

  • Automotive dealership experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of dealership service operations
  • Leadership mentality with a team-first attitude
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily shop and service lane workflow
  • Dispatch repair orders efficiently to maximize technician productivity
  • Communicate repair status and recommendations between advisors and technicians
  • Help ensure a smooth, professional customer experience
  • Monitor shop capacity, and technician efficiency
  • Assist with internal repair orders and operational support
  • Work closely with service management to improve production and workflow
  • Any other duties assigned by management
