About The Position

South Shore Chevrolet Express is looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Service Manager to help lead our Service Department and support the continued success of our growing operation. In this leadership role, you'll oversee the daily operations of the Service Department, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, efficient workflows, and strong team performance. You'll play a key role in driving department success while helping maintain the high standards our customers have come to expect. You'll also provide operational oversight and support for our Steele on Demand service operation, helping ensure seamless service delivery across both areas of the business.

Requirements

• Previous automotive service management or leadership experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proven ability to motivate and develop teams
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• A results-driven mindset with a focus on operational excellence
• Knowledge of dealership service operations and industry best practices

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the day-to-day leadership of the Service Department
• Supporting department performance, profitability, and operational goals
• Coaching, mentoring, and supporting service team members
• Helping manage departmental expenses and resources effectively
• Ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction throughout the service experience
• Collaborating with other departments to support dealership success
• Providing operational support for the Steele on Demand service operation
• Monitoring key performance indicators and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
