Acura of Thornhill, in partnership with Lithia and Driveway, North America’s largest automotive retailer, is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager. Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a sales role in vehicle retail sales including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • OMVIC certification
  • Valid drivers license and clean abstract
  • Proficient with the following computer environments: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in order to resolve customer issues.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage when Sales Managers are not available.
  • Assists in forecasting goals and objectives for sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Assists salespersons in setting goals and objectives and coaches employees to achieve goals.
  • Assists managers in recruitment, training development and monitors the performance of the sales staff.
  • Ensures effective communication within the department and interdepartmentally.
  • Creates a customer focused environment and continuously strives to improve the customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Ensures that customer complaints are handled promptly and effectively and works closely with the customer to settle disputes.
  • Greets customers ensuring optimum customer services and assist team with closing customer deals.
  • Prepare documents, reports etc. as required.
  • Other duties as required
