Assistant Retail Manager Full Time
About The Position
The Assistant Salon Director helps maintain a high-energy, positive environment and consistently demonstrate client-centric service. The role supports store performance, superior client service, and operational excellence in order to meet or exceed productivity goals. The Assistant Salon Director manages and supervises Tanning Consultants, leads by example in company operations, and holds the team accountable for delivering an exceptional client experience. The position involves working five days per week, approximately 40 to 45 hours depending on hourly or salary status. Management coverage may require nights and weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays. The employee must have reliable transportation and be able to go to the bank as needed.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple situations simultaneously.
- Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
- Problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor, with knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
- Team-building skills.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate.
- Reliable ability and transportation to go to the bank as needed.
- Ability to work approximately five days and 40 to 45 hours per week, with nights and weekends as required.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead by example in company operations, create a client-centric experience, and meet personal sales expectations.
- Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
- Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
- Coach, train, and provide feedback to improve Team Members’ daily performance.
- Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
- Assist the Salon Director with controlling revenue and expenses.
- Help maintain appropriate staffing levels to support productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
- Provide management coverage on nights and Saturdays and Sundays as required.
