About The Position
The Assistant Salon Director helps maintain a high-energy, positive environment and ensures that client-centric service is consistently demonstrated. This role helps drive store performance, superior client service, and operational excellence while meeting or exceeding productivity goals. The Assistant Salon Director manages and supervises Tanning Consultants, leads by example in company operations, and holds the team accountable for delivering an exceptional client experience. The position involves working five days per week, approximately 40 to 45 hours depending on hourly or salary status. Management coverage may include nights and weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays. The role may require working independently and alone during shifts as business needs require, and reliable transportation to visit the bank as needed. The posting advertises base pay of $15.00 per hour or more, with performance and store bonuses producing average earnings of $20.00 per hour for management employees meeting performance and training criteria. The $20.00 hourly average is not guaranteed. College education and management and/or sales experience are preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment and bend down to pick up trash, towels, and other items from floors.
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
- Ability to perform salon cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
- Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.
- Reliable ability and transportation to go to the bank as needed.
- Ability to work nights and Saturdays and Sundays as required for management coverage.
- Availability to work five days per week and approximately 40 to 45 hours, depending on hourly or salary status.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the salon’s daily operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead by example in company operations, create a client-centric experience, and meet personal sales expectations.
- Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
- Establish clear goals and objectives for team members.
- Coach, train, and provide feedback to improve team members’ daily performance.
- Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
- Assist the Salon Director in controlling revenue and expenses.
- Help maintain appropriate staffing levels to support productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
- Provide management coverage on nights and Saturdays and Sundays as required.
- Travel to the bank as needed.
