About The Position

As the Assistant Real Estate Manager, you are responsible for effectively providing assistance to all on-site activities, coordination, and to the Real Estate Manager. You are also responsible for support tasks delegated to them from the Real Estate Manager with a focus on the operational and financial health and wellbeing of the properties. Your ability to own your work and drive success will make a direct impact on the communities we serve.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of professional or technical experience.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting leases strongly preferred
  • Highly motivated individual with exceptional organization skills who can work with considerable independence.
  • Strong commitment to a team-oriented approach.
  • Strong personal skills to interact with tenants, vendors, contractors, and HCP Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • MRI experience strongly preferred.
  • U.S. Work Authorization (required).

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree or BA/BS from a two or four-year technical college or university.

Responsibilities

  • Assignments and projects are limited and straightforward in scope with minimal complexity.
  • Makes decisions with Leadership guidance.
  • Assists Real Estate Manager in management of properties and provides a variety of administrative and clerical functions in support of a property.
  • Assists the Real Estate Manager with daily department tasks, projects, and work schedules.
  • Acts in a support function, assisting with all on-site activities, events, and general coordination.
  • Participates in budget preparation and execution; preparing analysis as requested.
  • Helps to produce monthly financial reports as requested.
  • Works with Facilities team members to address tenant maintenance issues.
  • Assists with move in/move out procedures as needed.
  • Assists Real Estate Manager with collection of overdue payments from tenants.
  • Draft, proof and/or finalize correspondence for assigned Real Estate Managers as needed.
  • Use various software packages and other aids to produce or assist other staff in producing accurate documents.
  • Ability to use invoicing software such as Nexus Payable to process invoices for the individual property vendors.
  • Coordinate vendor and tenant access control with Facilities.
  • Completes write-off requests for Real Estate manager review.
  • Assists Real Estate Manager with analyzing variances on the monthly Comparative Income Statement.
  • Assists Real Estate Manager with tracking property NOI & trends.
