About The Position

The Assistant Quality Control Manager works under the supervision of the Quality Control Manager, supporting Quality Control Inspectors and ensuring products meet the quality standards of customers and Drug Plastics. The role includes supervising inspectors, maintaining quality and production documentation, reviewing reports and timecards, conducting audits, and assisting with customer complaint investigations and corrective actions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in Math or Science.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Proficiency applying mathematical and scientific skills to perform basic statistical calculations.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

1–3 years of previous manufacturing experience preferred.
3–5 years of experience working in a Quality department or similar position.

Responsibilities

Promote positive employee relations.
Complete and review all required daily production reports.
Review and approve Quality Control Inspector timecards weekly.
Supervise Quality Inspectors to ensure quality and production standards are maintained.
Attend Priority Meetings.
Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for manufacturing orders, including Product Quality Standards, Quality Cards, Labels, Manufacturing Orders, Product Drawings, and Bottle Inspection Reports.
Maintain certificates of analysis and compliance for raw materials.
Perform internal plant audits and assist in correcting deficiencies.
Jointly conduct root cause analysis and Corrective Actions & Preventative Actions (CAPAs) for customer complaints.
