About The Position

JLL is seeking an Assistant Property Manager (APM) to join their growing Retail property management team in Honolulu. The APM will provide support to the Property Manager(s) in all areas of management for assigned properties, including maintenance, tenant relations, collections, monthly reporting, annual budgeting, risk management, property improvements, preparation of contracts, collection of certificates of insurance, sales collection, and accounts payables. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The APM will act as a liaison between tenants and building staff to ensure buildings are clean, functional, and welcoming. Requirements

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting a commercial property management team.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Experience working with Property Management financials.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, required.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Retail property management experience preferred.
  • Yardi, AP/AR preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Property Manager(s) in all areas of management for assigned properties.
  • Manage maintenance, tenant relations, collections, monthly reporting, annual budgeting, risk management, property improvements, preparation of contracts, collection of certificates of insurance, sales collection and accounts payables.
  • Interact with tenants.
  • Assist with budgets and financial reports.
  • Reconcile A/R accounts and code invoices.
  • Track certificates of insurance.
  • Act as a liaison between tenants and building staff to ensure buildings are clean, functional, and welcoming.
  • Implement innovative ideas in a team environment.
  • Act decisively, think big, and manage time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
