About The Position

Hokanson Companies is hiring an Assistant Property Manager to help support day-to-day operations of commercial properties in southern Indiana and Illinois. This role is a great fit for someone with administrative assistant, office coordinator, or customer service experience, or a recent graduate looking to start a career in property management.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of admin, office, or customer service experience (or recent graduate)
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Reliable transportation for regional travel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in property management, real estate, or facilities

Responsibilities

  • Answer emails and calls from clients, tenants, and vendors
  • Schedule maintenance and coordinate contractors
  • Track work orders and follow up on service requests
  • Assist with inspections and property-related tasks
  • Help process invoices and maintain records
  • Support the Property Manager with daily administrative tasks
