About The Position

JLL is seeking a Property Manager for their growing Industrial Property Management team in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. This role is responsible for providing direct management oversight for assigned retail properties, aiming to maximize NOI and asset value on behalf of JLL clients. Key responsibilities include property management, operations, maintenance, client and tenant relations, supporting the leasing team, marketing, accounts payable collections, annual budgeting, risk management, and financial reporting. The Property Manager will provide leadership, outstanding customer service, and manage an industrial portfolio, ensuring client and tenant satisfaction. This includes preparing budgets and financial reports, managing TI and/or capital improvement projects, and developing staff. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective relationship management with building owners and tenants. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, decisive, and focused on creating an energized and collaborative environment, contributing to work quality, cultural initiatives, and best practices. Embracing the human side of business, the role emphasizes people focus, understanding client and team member needs, and managing relationships for conflict resolution and client retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of commercial property management experience including recent experience in one of these (office, retail, industrial, healthcare) is a plus
  • Strong financial acumen and experience preparing budgets, CAM reconciliations, and other types of related financial reports
  • Familiarity with building systems, lease negotiation, documentation, and administration
  • AZ Real Estate License is required within 180 days.
  • Experience using a property management accounting platform, such as Yardi, Kardin or MRI is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish relationships with all levels of the organization & external clients
  • Proficiency in the use and application of technology tools and a desire to continually develop skillset
  • Proven track record of results, acting decisively, thinking big, and managing time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
