About The Position

FlexStaff is hiring a contracted Assistant Project Manager to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will assist with all aspects of case administration. This is an on-site position located in Long Island, NY, with working hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, including a 30-minute lunch break. The assignment is for 10 weeks with the possibility of extension. The hourly rate is $25.

Requirements

Ability to multitask
Type 55+ WPM with 100% accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
Ability to work under pressure
Outstanding customer service
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
High proficiency in Excel required
Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week)
Exceptional Attendance and Punctuality

Nice To Haves

Previous project management and/or administrative experience is preferred, but not required
Legal industry interest and/or experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Ensure timely completion of data entry, call center, website, and claims analysis tasks.
Maintain working knowledge of claims and correspondence processing, including a basic understanding of settlement protocol.
Track and manage error patterns and implement appropriate solutions.
Ensure timely processing of all documents.
Document internal audits and other internal quality assurance activities.
Evaluate audit and quality assurance findings and initiate corrective actions.
Assure ongoing compliance with quality and client regulatory requirements.
Enhance the organization’s reputation by taking ownership for the quality and accuracy of output.
Work with other team members to resolve processing errors quickly and efficiently and escalate issues to team leaders as needed.
Accurately record information from claim and inspection forms into a proprietary database.
Identify trend issues and make recommendations for process improvements.
Compile reports as directed by the team leader.
Investigate issues and collaborate with other team members as directed.
Rely on experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
