WESTWOOD PROFESSIONAL SERVICES INC•Westminster, CO
•$65,000 - $85,000•Onsite

About The Position

The Assistant Project Manager supports experienced project managers on complex and/or multi-service projects and manages small and/or single-service projects, while also supporting service leads on those projects. The role helps maintain stakeholder relationships, coordinate project teams, plan and monitor work, oversee deliverables, manage uncertainty and change, and ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable collection. The position is office-based in a Westwood office, with little to no travel expected. The work is typical of a non-physical, office-based role, and no personal protective equipment is required. The role has no supervisory responsibility and requires independent task and project management, with frequent guidance on objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters, and supervision regarding unusual conditions and developments. Success is measured by budget compliance—including minimizing work in progress, write-offs, and aged accounts receivable—timeliness, customer and team satisfaction, and winning repeat work. Westwood describes its work as transforming the energy grid, designing resilient infrastructure, and developing communities. The company highlights safety, sustainability, operational excellence, collaboration, and community impact as aspects of its identity.
