About The Position

The Assistant Project Manager assists in coordinating project activities to ensure cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards are met. The role supports data center projects and works with design, construction, and commissioning firms, customers, T5 operations, project teams, utility and fiber providers, and field team members. The position is based in Temple, Texas and is full-time.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
At least 3 years of construction experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Project.
Experience with Division 2–10 trades, from concrete through finish trade.
Demonstrated effective relationship building within the project team and throughout the Company.
Flexibility to adapt quickly to the company’s changing needs.
Attention to detail.
Self-starter.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of data center experience preferred.
Experience with Yardi, Procor, and Prolog preferred.

Responsibilities

Help coordinate project meetings with design, construction, and commissioning firms.
Prepare and assist with pre-installation meetings.
Assist in managing T5 budgets and schedules.
Conduct feasibility studies and cash flow management.
Provide on-site management of data center projects.
Interact with power and fiber companies.
Assist the Project Manager and project team with reporting.
Interface with customers to ensure critical infrastructure integrity.
Interface with the T5 operations team.
Support business development.
Perform other duties consistent with the role as assigned by T5 management.
Keep field team members, including the Superintendent, informed and active in decision-making.
Identify client needs and address them.
Identify and act on ways to add value.
