This position is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating individual and group services for low-income and first-generation UW undergraduate participants in the McNair Scholars Program. The goal is to ensure participants' academic success and subsequent enrollment in graduate school, with the ultimate objective of earning a Ph.D. The role involves assisting with program planning, administrative operations, and compliance tasks, including participant recruitment, workshop development, advising, managing expenses and payroll, undertaking reporting and audits, supervising graduate student mentors, and event planning. The Assistant Project Director also collaborates with the Project Director on public relations and informational materials, such as the program's website, social media, newsletters, and event programs. This is a grant-funded, at-will employment position.
