About The Position

STV is hiring an Assistant Program Manager for the Construction Manager Group in Chicago. This role involves supporting Program Managers with various aspects of project lifecycle management, including planning, development, engineering, construction, technical support, bidding strategy, scheduling, budgeting, funding allocation, grants management, work prioritization, and closeout. The Assistant Program Manager will be responsible for developing project scope, schedule, and budget to align with stakeholder goals. Additionally, they will assist in managing cost overruns through value engineering and implement program improvements, including reporting and process enhancements. This position also requires recommending solutions for complex issues and updates to construction specifications, as well as assisting with change orders and contract reviews.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience managing and administering program projects, including scope development, planning, design, budgeting, funding, and close-out.
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university, ideally in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.

  • Public agency program management experience preferred.
