About The Position

The Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Earth System Science. Earth System Science is the study of the world’s air, water, land, and life as an integrated system. Our department is focused on uniting basic and purpose-driven research to understand how the Earth functions, the many ways it is changing, and the consequences for people and other species. We are interested in candidates who can contribute to the department’s research and teaching priorities. All interested candidates in any area of Earth System Science are strongly encouraged to apply.
