About The Position

The Section of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Children’s Hospital Colorado is seeking a physician and surgeon with fertility preservation expertise and interests to promote and advance reproductive health through patient care, education, research, and advocacy. The role involves service to the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Children’s Hospital Colorado, with a small percentage of time dedicated to gynecology-only services for an adolescent-to-adult transition program at University of Colorado Hospital. The position is for a fellowship-trained pediatric and adolescent gynecologist committed to academic medicine, at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, joining a practice of four Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecologists and two Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners. The section provides gynecologic care for patients from birth through age 25 in various clinics and multidisciplinary settings, collaborating closely with cognate departments and the School of Medicine. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is a large department supporting numerous residents and fellows.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be Board eligible or Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Completion of a pediatric and adolescent gynecology fellowship, recognized by the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
  • Candidates must also have completed or eligible for completion of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Focused Practice Designation in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
  • Licensure by the Colorado State Medical Board will be required prior to commencement of employment.
  • 5-10 years of clinical OBGYN experience
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
