Assistant Professor - Tenure Track
About The Position
Emory University's Department of Epidemiology, Rollins School of Public Health, is seeking a scholar for a tenure-track faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor rank. The successful candidate will contribute to the department's strengths in social epidemiology, with a preference for those with strong methodological backgrounds, particularly in theory and methods underlying social determinants of health. Candidates must demonstrate the potential for independent research and graduate-level teaching. The Department of Epidemiology is a large department with extensive research funding and numerous research centers, offering MPH, MSPH, and PhD degrees. The Rollins School of Public Health is highly ranked nationally and is part of Emory's Robert W. Woodruff Health Sciences Center. The position is located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Requirements
- Demonstrated potential to become an independent investigator.
- Demonstrated potential to become a graduate-level teacher.
- Strong methodological backgrounds will be preferred.
- Scholarship emphasizing theory and methods underlying social determinants of health will be preferred.
