The Department of Epidemiology at Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health is seeking a scholar for a tenure-track faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor rank. The successful candidate will join a department with established strengths in social epidemiology and is expected to have a strong methodological background, particularly in areas related to the theory and methods underlying social determinants of health. This role requires the potential to become an independent investigator and a graduate-level teacher. The Department of Epidemiology is a large and diverse department with over 50 primary faculty and many joint and adjunct faculty, many affiliated with the CDC and American Cancer Society. The department's mission is to address complex public health challenges through rigorous research, communication, and training. The Rollins School of Public Health is highly ranked and is part of the Robert W. Woodruff Health Sciences Center. The position is located in Atlanta, Georgia.
