The Department of History at Auburn University seeks applications for a tenure-track appointment in public history at the rank of assistant professor with a focus on community-engaged work in post-1945 U.S. history. The successful candidate will develop upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of specialty and contribute to Auburn’s core U.S. history curriculum (in-person instruction). Contributions to the general upper-level U.S. curriculum will also be required occasionally.
