About The Position
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to create an environment that promotes collegiality and collaboration among members of various education, research, service, and cultural communities. A willingness to serve as a role model and advocate for the ideals of professionalism and high ethical standards in a health science educational setting is essential. The job duties include supervising dental students evaluating and triaging emergency dental patients and making treatment plans for these patients. Supervising/helping dental students providing endodontic treatment to patients in the endodontic clinic.
Requirements
- DDS/DMD or equivalent degree
- Completion of a CODA-accredited advanced education program in endodontics.
- Three years of practice experience.
- Must be eligible for a regular or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board.
- Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Endodontics is also required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in dental education
- An MS, PhD, EdD, or other advanced degree.
Responsibilities
