About The Position

The School of Business seeks to hire a full-time Assistant Professor (preferred) or Instructor in Organizational Leadership and Business to begin teaching in Spring 2027 or Fall 2027. Responsibilities include teaching a wide array of organizational leadership and business courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels based on faculty expertise/training and program needs. Faculty are expected to teach in multiple formats, including distance learning, online, and face-to-face; perform department and university service; support student scholarship; and conduct research in their field. Other responsibilities include student advisement, assisting with program and department assessment and development, and supporting student organizations and events. Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • A PhD in Organizational Leadership or a related business field is needed to qualify for the Assistant Professor rank.
  • A Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership or a related business field is needed to qualify at the Instructor rank.
  • Applicants who are doctoral degree candidates may be considered for the Assistant Professor position.

  • Expertise in online teaching and Quality Matters would be preferred.
