About The Position
The Department of Chemistry, Physics and Engineering at Cameron University invites applications for an assistant professor position in physics. The Department has 6 full time faculty members and offers programs leading to AAS in Engineering (5 options) and BS degrees in Chemistry (including ACS Certified) and Mechanical Engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to teach physics courses in support of our programs and teaching other courses in the department as appropriate given the experience and educational background of the candidate.
Requirements
- M.S. in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, or a related field from a regionally accredited university
- Minimum qualification for an assistant professor appointment is a PhD.

- Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, or a related field from a regionally accredited university
- Prior undergraduate teaching experience
Responsibilities
