Requirements

  • Master's degree in Systematic Theology, Historical Theology, or a closely related discipline.
  • Undergraduate teaching experience in a higher education setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach courses in systematic and historical theology.
  • Evidence of scholarly engagement through research and publication.
  • Strong commitment to Christian faith, local church involvement, and faith integration in higher education.
  • Passion for student development through teaching, mentoring, and advising.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and servant-hearted leadership.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate theology and related courses with excellence and effectiveness.
  • Develop syllabi, learning outcomes, and assessment strategies aligned with program objectives.
  • Mentor and advise students through Christ-centered academic and spiritual guidance.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, assessment initiatives, and program improvement.
  • Participate in faculty governance, committee service, and institutional initiatives.
  • Engage in ongoing research, scholarship, and professional development.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with students through participation in campus life, chapels, and community events.
  • Support Moody's mission through academic, spiritual, and institutional service.
