The Department of Marketing, Distribution, and Economics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Teaching in Marketing. The anticipated start date is August 2027. Primary teaching responsibilities may include areas such as digital/social media marketing, sport marketing, and neuromarketing. The position is non-tenure earning and carries a standard 4/4 teaching load. Candidates with a terminal degree in a relevant discipline who maintain Scholarly Academic (SA) status in accordance with AACSB guidelines will be eligible for a one-course load reduction. Candidates with interest or experience in behavioral research methods and/or student organization advising are encouraged to highlight this, as opportunities exist to engage with the department’s behavioral lab and active student organizations.
