About The Position

The Department of Marketing, Distribution, and Economics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Marketing to begin in the Fall of 2027. Applicants should submit evidence of an active program of high-quality research along with impactful and innovative teaching. Primary instructional responsibilities for this position may address one of several areas, to include: digital/social media marketing, marketing strategy, consumer behavior, or product/brand management. Depending on emergent need and candidate qualifications, prior experience or relevant knowledge with respect to areas such as personal selling, AI, analytics, and consumer neuroscience may also be desirable. Requirements

  • Hold a Ph.D. in Marketing or have completed doctoral requirements prior to the start date.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
