Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Assistant Professor of Economics - Macroeconomics at its Detroit campus location. The Department of Economics at Wayne State University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning on or about August 18, 2027. This is a full-time (9-month), benefits-eligible faculty position. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching in macroeconomics and econometrics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Department offers B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. programs. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in both research and teaching and should contribute to the academic and professional activities of the department. The teaching load is 2:2 (fall: winter semesters).
